JIM LEGGITT, FAIA


Architect, urban planner, and professional illustrator, Jim Leggitt, FAIA has been practicing for over thirty years in Denver, Colorado.  Principal of LEGGITT STUDIO LLC, he has conducted drawing seminars and workshops for AIA National Conventions, AIA regional and local conferences, universities, architectural firms and allied design professionals throughout the country and Canada for over Ten years.  Jim has presented at the Google SketchUp 3D Basecamps 2005 and 2008.  Leggitt authored DRAWING SHORTCUTS: Developing Quick Drawing Skills Using Today’s Technology published in 2002 by John Wiley and Sons, New York.  The book has been adopted by over 50 universities and translated in three foreign languages.  Jim completed DRAWING SHORTCUTS Second Edition which was published December 2009.  Leggitt is a Fellow with the American Institute of Architects and an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning.

DANIEL TAL, RLA, ASLA


Daniel Tal,RLA, ASLA, is a registered Senior Landscape Architect in the State of Colorado with over 12 years of professional practice experience. Daniel recently published Google SketchUp for Site Design: A Guide to Modeling Site Plans, Terrain and Architecture (Wiley & Sons, August 2009). Daniel conducts workshops and webinars on SketchUp and is presently writing a second SketchUp book for Wiley & Sons. Set for publication during the summer of 2011, it will cover advanced SketchUp modeling and tackle more complex design projects. Daniel consults with Google SketchUp on tools and future releases.
