Workshop Description
As a result of advances in computer and digital technology, many experienced designers and professionals have lost – and talented young designers have never developed – the ability to sketch and communicate design with quickly generated hand drawings. Improve your visualization skills and learn several simple and timesaving drawing methods that join traditional hand drawing techniques with modern technology. In this highly interactive hands-on two day drawing workshop located in Denver, Colorado, you’ll learn step-by-step hand drawing techniques developed to improve your ability to visualize and then communicate your design ideas to others.

Learning Objectives
By attending this workshop, participants will:

Learn the step-by-step approach using digital photography, Photoshop and Google SketchUp as tools to support the hand drawing process.

Learn various linework techniques and simple coloring options with markers and colored pencils.

Learn about effective drawing formats, composition, and materials that save you time and money.

Develop a positive and confident attitude about hand drawing and become a better design communicator.

Learn simple techniques for drawing people, cars, and landscaping.
